Bayern Munich face off with Sevilla in the Uefa Supercup at the Puskas Arena on the night of 24th September 2020, in Bucharest.

The Bavarians will be aiming to add yet another silverware in their trophy cabinet after winning the Champions league last month defeating PSG 1-0 in Lisbon.

Sevilla, on the other hand booked their place to participate in this tie when then came from behind to defeat Inter Milan 3-2, winning the Europa League for a record sixth time.

The Uefa Supercup is contested between the winner of the Uefa Champions league and Uefa Europa League.

Bayern Munich were on fire last season, winning a treble and are considered the best team in Europe. Despite a few departures, the Bavarians as still lethal and this was seen when they demolished Schalke 04 8 nil in their Bundesliga opener.

On the other hand, Sevilla have had some glory is European football winning the Europa league more than any other team. They head into the match after a long break having been exempted from the first week of La Liga action due to their Europa exploits.

Jansi Flick will miss the services of Kingley Coman, who had a man of the Match performance when the won the Champions league. He was the scorer of the only goal of the match. He is in quarantine having tested positive for Corona virus. Also unavailable will be a trio of Alvaro Odriozola, Ivan Perisic and Phillipe Coutinho who have returned to their parent clubs after the expiry of their loan deals. Thiago Alcantara left the club to join premier league side Liverpool.

Javi Martinez and David Alaba are in contention for tje match although they might start on bench with martinez being involved witb a deal away from Bavaria and Alaba struggling with match fitness.

Julen Loletegui has no significant first team injuries ahead of this clash. Former Barcelona man and ex-player Ivan Rakitic has rejoined the club and will be expected to be intrumental for the Spaniards.

De jong is expected to start ahead of Yusuff En Neysri with Suso and Ocampos providing support fron the flanks.
