Chelsea FC have named Petr Cech among the 25 man squad for the first half of the current premier league season.
The 38 year old, who is the clubs technical and performance advisor, retired in 2019 after the Europa league final, appearing as an Arsenal player.
Having spent 11 years at the club since arriving from Rennes, Cech last played for chelsea in 2015 in the final game of the season against Sunderland before joining Arsenal.
During his stay with the blues he won 4 premier league titles, one champions league, one Europa league and four FA cups.
With arsenal, he added to his trophy cabinet one FA Cup and two community shields.
Cech then returned to Chelsea after the completion of the 2018/19 season as a technical and performance advisor, a post that he still holds.
He has been registered as an emergency goalkeeper cover to supplement Edouard Mendy, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero.
